Our Registration Types/Procedures

 

Divisions:

Some sports will & some sports will not have 2 divisions (depending on #'s of registered teams). You may not play all the teams in your division. The general guide to divisions is:

Social = Players who want to have fun but have a higher degree of athletic experience.

Super Social = "Here for the beer" & want to make friends while exercising.

Online Services

Our "New Standard" for registration uses Secure Online Payment and a simple "team management system" by which Captains register their "Team Name", creating a "Team Page". They then email a "Username & Password" to their players! Players can login to the "Team Page" and Add themselves to the Roster & make their payment, All through the "Team Page". When the page is successfully Logged Into, It displays the up to date Team Roster of who has "signed up" & made their payment. All Captains need worry about is getting players to "Login & Sign" the roster!! (no more hounding people for $ - their name only shows on the roster when they have completed payment).

The Buttons on this page will take you to the New Online Registrations and explain details! At the bottom of the page are also links to the (Old) E-mail registration forms & the (Older) PDF printout registrations for those who prefer to use them; BUT you are HIGHLY encouraged to use the NEW ONLINE SYSTEM for quick & easy processing!

 

Individual

Sign Me Up

When you register for a sport season as an Individual, you will be considered a "Free Agent". This means we will place you on a team that has requested additional players -or- on a team comprised of all "free agents". You will then be informed (upon registration completion) what team you are on. The OCSSC will provide both you & the team captain with eachothers contact info.

Teams formed of all Individual Registrants will need someone to step up & fill the role of Captain. This person will be refunded their registration fee as a thank you for helping out!

How To Register:

Click on the "Sign Me Up" button and complete the online Individual Registration Form! To do so you will first obtain a payment confirmation from the "Google Checkout" button. You can use that button to pay your registration fee online. Once the Registration & payment forms are complete, You will receive an email confirmation and "Login Info". As an Individual, you have access to a "Team Page" for "Free Agents"... This allows you to use the League Message Board to see if there are teams looking for players or advertise you "contract availability" :-).

The OCSSC will work to place you on a team that needs help. At such a time your "online account" will be transferred to that Teams "Team Page" and you will be in contact with the team Captain!

If you choose to send/deliver your registration fee, please use the contact page to make arrangements, but be aware that your registration is not complete (you will not be placed on a team) until the fee is paid. (you can use the PDF download & mail as an alternate registration method if you are more comfortable with that)

Team

Sign Us Up

When you think you know a group of people that would enjoy getting together on a regular basis for a bit of physical activity, pull them together as a Team! All of the OCSSC sports are Team Oriented and we love it when you sign up that way.

To secure your team spot in any sport season we only need the Team Registration form and minimum of 10 players registered by the registration deadline for that sport! This can all be done ONLINE. You do not need to have a "complete" team to register as a team, there is a place in the registration form to request "Free Agents" be added to your roster.

The captain then has until week 1 of the season to get his/her player roster together and collect the fees from those individuals. Each sport has a recommended # of players per team.

The team balance & roster are due at the pre season coaches meeting but will be accepted at the week 1 games. It is the captains responsibility to collect the roster signatures and fees from their players and turn everything in to the OCSSC by week 1 (early completion of this is appreciated). If you are short players (male &/or female) we can help fill your roster by placing individual registrants on your team. There is a spot on the form to request additional players. Everyone who steps on the field must be on the official roster kept by the OCSSC. Rosters are locked on week 3 of the season.

This process is very easily preformed via our New "Online Team Management System"

How To Register:

With our new system Captains Register the Team Name & their intent to be Captain (along with their personal payment! The Captain will then receive an email with a "Username & Password to Activate their Account (aka. "Team Page"). Once Activated the captain should forward the Login Info (with a link to this site) to the people they are inviting to join their team. Players then use the Login to view the "team page" where they can click the "ADD ME" button to Add Themselves to your Roster (viewable on the Team Page). Players fill in the "SignUp Form" & make their league payment Online. When complete their Name will be listed on the "Team Page" Roster as a member of the team. Captains should frequent their "Team Page" to check on who has Signed Up as the Captain is Responsible for making sure a MINIMUM of 10 players are Signed Up BY the Registration Deadline!!

Roster/Waiver

Roster

Once you have completed your team registration, you are ready to compile your roster. All players that step onto an OCSSC field MUST be on a team Roster & MUST have agreed to the OCSSC Waiver. By having their name on a roster each player IS agreeing to the terms & conditions of the Waiver. This applies to both digital and physical "signature" of a team roster. Please make sure that all your players are aware of the terms they are agreeing to before you list their name on the roster.

How To Submit A Roster:

The New "Online Team Management System" can be used to take care of this automatically as players Sign Up for your team!

THIS IS DONE VIA YOUR TEAM LOGIN INFO THAT YOU WERE EMAILED UPON REGISTRATION!!

or

Click the "Roster" button to open the Team Roster Form. Fill in all the information for the Sport & Team. Then list the players on your team including their email, shirt size & payment log (either they have paid you or they have paid OCSSC). This does NOT have to be your complete roster but what you know at the time. Then Submit!

After submitting your Roster you can continue to collect payments and add players. When you have updated Roster info, simply return to the Roster Form page and submit the updated information!
